How do I earn cashback?
Earning cashback is easy - all you need to do when purchasing products or services from participating businesses, make sure you either link from the points4purpose™ host website at the time of purchase or use your linked payment card (credit card or debit card) when you shop in-store at participating retailers.
How do I select a Charity?
You can search alphabetically or by Charity genre. When you click on a Charity button, you learn about the particular Charity. When you click the select button, the Charity you have chosen will be added to your default Charity selection.
How do I donate my cashback?
Donating cashback to your favourite Charity is easy - all you have to do is decide which Charity or Charities you wish to support and the percentage to be donated, and we will process your donation to your selected Charity. The more you spend, the more you are donating to your favourite Charity!
What if my Charity is not listed?
Simply let us know and we will contact your Charity to bring them on board!
Can I change the Charity selection?
You can change the selection as often as you like. Each time you press the select a Charity button, you will update your Charity selection as your preference. Please note donations are processed at the end of each month. If you change your preference, the next payment will go to the new Charity selection.
Can I choose more than one Charity?
Sorry. Not yet. We are not able to facilitate the selection of more than one Charity at a time.
Can I donate my airline points?
Check with your airline rewards program. If they offer points4purpose™, you can receive a digital donation voucher which you can redeem on our points4purpose™ website. Simply enter the voucher reference number on the Redeem Voucher page, and the points will be converted to cash points4purpose™ and the donation paid to your chosen Charity.
Can I donate my loyalty points from another platform?
Check with your supplier or employer rewards program. When you select points4purpose™, you will receive a digital donation voucher which you can redeem on our points4purpose™ website. Simply enter the voucher reference number on the Redeem Voucher page, and the points will be converted to cash and the donation paid to your chosen Charity.
Is my donation tax deductible?
If the Charity you have selected holds a Tax Deductible Status, then you will be entitled to a tax deductible receipt for all donations over the value of $2. Not all social Charities entitle a tax deduction. To be tax deductible, the social Charity must hold a Deductible Gift Recipient status.
How do I find participating businesses?
The best way to find out which businesses will reward you for your loyalty is to use the ‘Shop’ menu. You can search by category to find businesses that suit your needs. This list will be updated as new businesses join the Program, so make sure you visit the site regularly.
